About Us
The Dementia Journey website has been expanded province wide in order to meet the needs of the whole population, including those who want to learn more about maintaining a healthy brain, who have a diagnosis of dementia, are caregivers or family members of someone with dementia, or who work with people with dementia.
We acknowledge that the strength of the Dementia Journey’s development comes from a partnership between the Alzheimer Society of B.C., Vancouver Coastal Health, Fraser Health, Vancouver Island Health, Interior Health and Northern Health.
Members of the wider community who are on their own journey with dementia have also provided significant support for the site’s development by participating in focus groups, and we thank them for that.
Funding for this intial work was provided by the Alzheimer Society of B.C. with significant in-kind input from all of the partners.
